The NIT Uttarakhand has 09 hostels in Srinagar (Garhwal) – 07 for boys and 02 for girls, and these hostels are named after holy rivers from the Himalayan hills.
The Institute provides comfortable residential facilities for about 650 students, rooms are shared with two or three students per room, and each room is furnished with chairs, study tables, beds, and lockers.
Students living in the hostels have access to a centralized mess facility, Hostels are fully Wi-Fi connected have emergency/continuous power supply through a DG set, and also equipped with water purifiers, water coolers, geysers, and telephones.
