UG Entrance Examination

• Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) is single window all India level entrance exam to get into any central government run technical institutions
• Most of the states conduct separate entrance exam for state government quota seats in govt and private engineering colleges located within that state. Few states like Tamil Nadu uses the board examination score in PCB instead of conducting entrance examination.
• Deemed University Engineering Colleges conduct their own entrance exam to fill their seats. Students from any Indian state are eligible for these seats

UG Admission Counselling

• Joint Seat Allocation Authority – JOSAA conducts counselling for Engineering seats in Central govt run technical institutions for which any Indian student is eligible to participate.
