NIT Jamshedpur, the Central Library boasts three expansive floors, spanning a total of approximately 32,184 sqft, and serves as the heart of knowledge for the entire institute.
Its well-organized layout includes distinct areas such as a Reading Hall, Periodical section, processing section, stack Room, Book Bank, and Binding Unit, and is equipped with CCTV cameras and a fire alarm system to ensure security.

Hostel

NIT Jamshedpur Campus has 13 hostels, with 7 for boys and 6 for girls, the boys’ hostels can house over 1100 students, while the girls’ hostels can accommodate 540 students.
Each room comes with a cupboard and a separate balcony, and additionally, every block has ample toilets and bathrooms equipped with 2 geysers.

Sports

NIT Jamshedpur boasts a range of sports facilities, including courts for basketball, volleyball, badminton, and tennis, and additionally, there are grounds for cricket, hockey, and football.
