The Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) boasts a robust infrastructure with two campuses, the Brambe campus spans 45 acres of beautiful, vibrant greenery.
The other permanent campus covers 510 acres, with ongoing construction aimed at creating an unmatched eco-friendly environment, and features green architecture and designs, attracting scholars for academic pursuits.
All departments are connected through VOIP phones and have a well-equipped video conferencing system, and the Technical Cell has established a computer laboratory that provides 24-hour network and authenticated internet access to all.
The University Dispensary, managed by medical personnel, offers OPD services along with first aid, Medicines are available free of cost, and other amenities include a guesthouse with six suites and six single bedrooms, a bank with ATM facilities, a transport facility, and a canteen.

The library at CUJ serves as a Knowledge Resource Center and a central facility for the academic community and occupies a total area of 2,718 sqft spread over two floors in a separate, fully air-conditioned building.
The library’s collection includes 36,450 print books, 6,267 e-journals through the eShodhsindhu consortia, 2 print journals, 5,784 e-books, 8 newspapers, 74 theses, and 940 donated books.
Additional facilities offered by the library include a reading room with a seating capacity for 60 people, Internet access, E-resources, Book lending services, and Remote access capabilities.

Hostel
The Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) provides separate hostels for girls, boys, and both male and female research scholars, and is equipped with Wi-Fi, water purifiers, and modern amenities.
The Hostel has a mess facility offering healthy food and filtered RO water through coolers, and additional facilities include a reading room, gymnasium, and a television room, as well offer a 24-hour Wi-Fi facility and a bus service to the academic blocks.
The office of the Dean of Students’ Welfare (DSW) oversees the general welfare of the students, and the office arranges all hostel facilities and manages administrative decisions related to food and lodging.

Sports
The Sports Department at the CUJ plays a key role in promoting sports activities, the students regularly participate in and win medals at zonal and national sports competitions.
The facilities include one multipurpose ground, one football ground, two concrete cricket pitches, three full-size badminton courts, two full-size volleyball courts, one basketball court, and one full-size lawn tennis court.
There is also a sports complex for indoor activities such as table tennis, carrom, chess, wushu, yoga, and three multi-station gyms for both boys and girls.Some students have also competed and won in international tournaments in yoga and wushu.

Placements
The Training and Placement cell at CUJ is dedicated to equipping students with the necessary skills and abilities to face industry challenges, and to enable students to make significant contributions to society and achieve their career goals.
In the academic year 2022-23, 88 students were successfully placed in various companies with the highest salary package offered was Rs 9.36 LPA.

The University campus is located in Brambe, 25 km from Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand, and is well connected by road and rail, linking it to major cities in eastern India.
