Library

Mizoram University’s Central Library spans 4,496.62 sqm, holds a vast collection of 1,17,959 books, 2734 e-books, 719 theses, and 566 master’s dissertations/project works.
It also houses 1,53,220 back volumes of journals, 210 print journals, 35 general periodicals, 20 newspapers, collection with 6,885 e-journals and 570 CDs/DVDs.

Hostel

Mizoram University offers spacious and well-furnished hostels for its students and twelve hostels on campus, out of 7 for boys and 5 for girls.
Each hostel provides basic amenities such as water purifiers, a common room, a recreation room, a TV, laundry services, a security and surveillance system, and Wi-Fi are available.

Sports

Mizoram University’s Sports Department, organizes various sports programs for students, and is equipped with many sports facilities.
Students can enjoy basketball, badminton, tennis, cricket, a fully-equipped gym, a running track, and football grounds.

Placements

The Career Counseling and Placement Cell guides students toward their career paths and helps them secure top-notch job placements.
In the year 2022-23, the students received the highest package of Rs14 LPA and an average package of Rs4.80 LPA..

Mizoram University is located near Tanhril village, just 11 km west of Aizawl, the capital city of Mizoram, is easily accessible via national highways connecting Assam, Manipur, Tripura, and Meghalaya.
The nearest station is Bairabi, approximately 117 km away, while Silchar Railway Station is about 180 km from the campus.
