Infrastructure

The Institute operates from its temporary campus at GEC, Gandhinagar, and includes eight well-equipped laboratories, eight lecture halls, a seminar hall, and two conference rooms.
There are five computing labs with a total of 270 computers, including two hardware laboratories, an MTech laboratory, and a PhD laboratory, and the entire campus is WiFi-enabled.

IIIT Vadodara Library caters to the academic and informational needs of faculty, students, and staff by offering a diverse range of resources.
Its collection encompasses books spanning Computer Science, Information Technology, Physics, Mathematics, Humanities, and Social Sciences, along with technical and general print magazines.

Hostel

All housing is studio apartments, semi-furnished, with attached WC and bathroom, each apartment accommodates 4 students, each provided with a bed, study table, chair, and cupboard with lock.
Amenities include a gym, reading room, recreation facilities, 24/7 security, housekeeping, and Dining facilities within the hostel premises offer ample seating capacity.

Sports

The student activities at IIIT Vadodara’s two campuses were held both online and offline and featured a variety of cultural, technical, sports, and literature events.
Ventura, the annual sports fest organized by the Sports Committee, included Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Athletics, and a Carrom tournament.

Placements

IIIT Vadodara, the Training and Placement Cell oversees campus placements for graduating students, a total of 82 companies visited the campus, extending a total of 232 job offers.
Impressively, 97.21% of interested students secured placements, with 174 students successfully placed, the highest package offered was at 43.34 LPA, while the average package was 15.43 LPA.

Highlights

At IIIT Vadodara, four students have received jaw-dropping offers ranging from 72 LPA to 1.8 Crores from crypto start-ups, while another landed an offer from Google.
The institution’s students have made waves by clinching the top spot in the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2022, an esteemed competition by the Union Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and the AICTE Delhi.
