The Smt Hansa Mehta Library is one of the largest and wealthiest libraries in India and serves as the Central Library for the University, supported by 13 constituent libraries and 25 departmental libraries.
The library boasts a collection of over 800,000 books and periodicals, including 631,735 volumes (with bound journals), and 1,100 research journals, and also holds over 14,000 digitized dissertations and theses.
Hostel
Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) has one of the largest hostel campuses in western India, which includes 12 boys’ hostels accommodating 2,900 students and 4 girls’ hostels accommodating 2,000 students.
Each student is provided with essential furniture, including a bed, cupboard, table, and chair, and features modern amenities, including automatic gas-fired hot water boilers, ensuring hot water during winter.
Sports
