Library

The VGEC Library is located in the Workshop Building, covering an area of 714 square meters, and has seating for 150 people.
The library includes several sections such as a librarian’s cabin, a newspaper reading area, a book issue and return area, a reference section, and a magazine section.

Hostel

The institute offers excellent accommodation for its students, ensuring a comfortable and enriching stay, separate hostels for boys and girls, with the boys’ hostel accommodating 540 students and the girls’ hostel accommodating 180 students.
Each hostel has its mess for meals, and other facilities such as a library, a TV room, a badminton court, and a gym, also both indoor and outdoor games are available for the residents.

Sports

The Student’s Gymkhana is an organization that oversees all student activities within the Institute and helps students develop organizational skills and leadership abilities.
The sports facilities available include Sports Equipment, a Badminton Court, Boys Common Room, an Activity Room, a Techfest Room, a Board Games Room, a Cultural Cell, and a Volleyball Court.

Placements

The Placement Cell at Vishwakarma Government Engineering College works with two main goals: preparing students for job placements and connecting with companies for campus recruitment.
In the 2023-24 academic year, over 78 companies participated, offering a total of 406 job placements, around 80-90% of students secured jobs, with the highest salary package reaching 22 LPA..
