Library
The Indira Gandhi Memorial (IGM) Library is a key facility at the University, designed to support the information needs of faculty, researchers, and students, is located in a separate, air-conditioned annex building with two reading halls spread across two floors, offering over 200 seats.
The library covers a total area of 57,000 square feet and has a total seating capacity of 400, features 30 individual reading carrels, and a 2,000-square-foot lounge area for browsing and relaxed reading.
Hostel
The university has 23 hostels, including 8 for women, accommodating over 5,000 students, and priority is given to those from distant places.
Hostels are located on the North and South campuses for proximity to study/research areas, and nine hostels offer dining facilities with Modern facilities in all hostels.
Sports
The University of Hyderabad offers a variety of sports and wellness facilities, and all are well-maintained and designed to support the university community’s health and fitness needs.
