If the candidate Fails to report to the allotted college the candidate loses the allotted seat. Undeclared candidates cannot participate in subsequent rounds.

  1. Accept and Upward.

The candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat but wants to wait for the allotment in the higher order of the candidate’s choice in the next upward movement. For example, if a candidate is allotted a seat for Choice 5, the candidate can wait for Choice 1,2,3,4. If the best choice is not available in the upward movement, the candidate will be confirmed for the seat with the previously allotted choice 5.

  1. Decline and Upward.
