AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) has been renamed AP EAPCET, which stands for Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test. General category candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks, while reserved category candidates must have obtained 40% marks. Candidates must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission, and those appearing for the qualifying exam are also eligible.
For Pharma-D CourseCandidates who have passed their class 12th or equivalent exam with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects, as well as those who have passed a Diploma Examination in Pharmacy, are eligible to apply. General category candidates must have scored a minimum of 45%, while reserved category candidates must have scored 40% in the specified subjects aggregate. Additionally, candidates appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply.
For B.Pharm CourseCandidates who have studied Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects in their class 12th or equivalent are eligible to apply.

General Eligibility Criteria for AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET) 2024 :

Candidates should be Indian Nationals or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI).

Candidates must be Andhra Pradesh/Telangana state residents and should meet the local/non-local status requirements by Educational Institutes in Andhra Pradesh under admission regulations.

Academic Eligibility Criteria AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET) 2024 :

Candidates must have passed or appeared in the qualifying examination of intermediate or 10+2 level, or its equivalent as recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination and taken Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at the 10+2 level, or any relevant vocational subjects in the Engineering and Technology stream.

The AP EAMCET 2024 application process is expected to begin tentatively in March, with the last date for submission without a late fee set for April 2024. The process involves several stages including fee payment, registration, filling out application forms, uploading required documents, and final submission.   • Local status certificate (if applicable) i.e a candidate who migrates to any part of the state of Andhra Pradesh from the state of Telangana shall be regarded as the local candidate in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The step-by-step guide for candidates participating in the AP EAPCET counselling 2024 process includes the following:

Step 1: Registration and Payment of Processing Fee:

  • Visit sche.ap.gov.in and navigate to the EAPCET Admissions section.
  • Click on the Registration form link and enter EAPCET 2024 Hall Ticket No and Date of Birth.
  • Verify all displayed details in the registration form.
  • If no mistakes are found, accept the declaration and proceed to processing fee payment.
  • If mistakes are found, select “yes” to make corrections, provide suitable data, and upload relevant document proofs online.
  • Once corrections are made, accept the declaration and proceed to processing fee payment.
  • The processing fee for web counselling is Rs. 1200 for OC/BC candidates and Rs. 600 for SC/ST candidates, payable online via credit card, debit card, net banking, etc.

Step 2: Document Verification:

  • Candidates who have paid the AP EAMCET 2024 counselling fee will undergo document verification.
  • Verification will be conducted both online and offline for candidate convenience.
  • If certificates were previously verified online by respective boards/agencies based on candidate information during AP EAPCET 2024 application, candidates need to pay processing fee cum registration.
  • Candidates can verify personal, academic, and other details for correctness. If satisfied, no additional certificate uploads are required. Candidates may note the transaction reference ID for future reference

Step 3: Status of Document Verification:

  • Students must check their certificate verification status using their hall ticket number and date of birth.
  • Those whose certificates were verified online will see a message stating “Candidate is eligible for exercising options”. They must proceed to option entry as per the notification schedule.
  • Candidates whose certificates are not verified online will see a message indicating “Student is not eligible or certificate verification is in progress”. They should have uploaded documents during registration. These certificates will be verified by the Help Line centre authorities, and eligibility will be determined. Eligible candidates must proceed to option entry according to the AP EAMCET 2024 counselling schedule.

Step 3: Option Entry:

  • After successful registration, candidates must log in again for option entry on scheduled dates.
  • During option entry, candidates choose preferred colleges and courses in order of preference.
