The Central Library, spanning 36,000 square yards, caters to the needs of students, faculty, and staff with its diverse sections.
It has a collection of over 55,000 books, 3,094 CD/DVD collections, 1,354 theses and dissertations, access to 46,409 online journals, and 2,695 conference proceedings through eShodhSindu Digital Library Consortium and INFLIBNET.

Hostel

At SMVDU, all students are required to reside in the university hostels which are divided into four hostels for boys and two for girls.
Each student’s room comes equipped with furniture including a bed, table, chair, almirah (wardrobe), ceiling fan, and electric light.

Sports

The university encourages a healthy lifestyle with its excellent sports facilities.
The Outdoor Games include a cricket ground, football ground, kho kho and kabaddi courts, as well as basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts.
