NIT Trichy Central Library is a treasure trove of knowledge with over 250,000 documents, which includes 135,536 technical books, 8617 reports, 1601 CD-ROMs, and a variety of audio-visual educational materials, and also boasts 2,378 theses and projects.
In addition to print resources, the library offers 83 print periodicals and access to 8,210+ e-journals and 1,995+ e-books and holds an impressive 17,690 back volumes of journals.Students can benefit from 16,750 books available through the Book Bank scheme, over 800 competitive examination guides and manuals, and access to 9 daily newspapers.

Hostel

NIT Trichy, students enjoy top-notch accommodation with 22 boys’ hostels and 6 girls’ hostels, and these hostels provide a total of 2780 rooms for boys and 891 rooms for girls, accommodating a total of 6966 students, including undergraduates, postgraduates, and research scholars.
Each hostel is equipped with essential amenities like a television, two DOT telephones, intercom(s), an aqua guard, a water cooler, and indoor and outdoor game kits.

How To Reach

NIT-T, located in Tiruchirapalli (Trichy), is the fourth largest city in Tamil Nadu, centrally located about 320 km from Chennai.
The campus, situated in Thuvakudi, is around 22 km from Tiruchirappalli Junction/Central Bus Stand on the Trichy-Thanjavur Highway, Regular Thanjavur-bound buses, operating every few minutes, cover the distance in approximately 30 minutes.
