The NITK Central Library is a modern hub on campus, spanning 2759 sq meters with accommodating over 500 students, and the Digital Reading Room is equipped with Wi-Fi and over 25 computers for accessing subscribed e-journals and e-resources.
A vast collection with 1.35 Lakh books, 23,100 e-books, 249 print journals, and 12,045 full-text e-journals, and Access to resources Includes 32,806 standards, 8,829 conference proceedings, and 24 full-text online databases.

Hostel

NIT Surathkal has accommodation for over 5500 students, spread across 12 hostel blocks for boys and 5 for girls, along with an International Hostel.
Each hostel room comes furnished with internet access and Students play an active role in managing hostels and dining halls.

Sports

The Physical Education & Sports Department at our institute is top-notch in sports and fitness facilities.
NIT Surathkal has a 400m Athletics track, cricket fields with playing pitches, football fields, hockey fields, basketball courts (both concrete and for girls’ hostel), volleyball courts, tennis courts, ball badminton, throwball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, and Tennikoit courts.

The Career Development Centre (CDC) arranges on-campus job interviews and placements for all students, and graduates secure lucrative positions in top companies both domestically and internationally.
Over 405 companies visit the campus, the placement rate for UG of 93%, while PG achieves 74.3%, and the highest salary offered s 45.03 LPA, with an average salary of Rs 15.84 LPA..
