The institute’s central library boasts an extensive collection of over 75,000 books covering various fields of engineering, it houses over 10,000 computer-related books, and each engineering branch and architecture has its dedicated section within the library.
It has also an E-Resource Section containing 2,700 e-journals, along with business and current affairs-related magazines and pamphlets, and it provides a serene environment for studying, complete with ample space and central air conditioning.

Hostel

NIT Patna boasts a residential setup comprising six hostels: five for male students and one for female students with a total of 2068 seats for boys and 402 for girls, and the institution prioritizes safety and comfort.
The hostels are guarded round the clock to ensure security for all residents, uninterrupted water and electricity supply, and Wi-Fi connections are available in all hostels, catering to students’ internet needs.
