NIT Meghalaya’s Central Library stands as a vital partner in the institute’s educational and research endeavors and subscribes to leading full-text databases like Science Direct, Springer-Link, ACM Digital Library, IEL (GP), ASCE, ASME, and an e-bibliographic database.
With over 15,000 text and reference books, 5977 e-books, and access to 6005 E-Journals, 1462 books through Book Banks for SC/ST students, 80 theses, 4 magazines, 8 newspapers, and 43 reports.

Hostel

NIT Meghalaya has ten hostels located across different parts of the city, and there are nine boys’ hostels accommodating 453 students and three girls’ hostels for 180 students.
Each hostel features a furnished dining hall, a reading room, and a gymnasium, and is equipped with basic facilities such as LED TVs, music systems, geysers in every bathroom, and water coolers.

Sports

NIT Meghalaya, the Sports Club thrives on energy and excitement, encouraging campus-wide participation in sports like badminton, table tennis, football, cricket, and our thrilling marathon.
Each year, the Institute hosts a lively cultural fest, providing a stage for our talented students to display their creativity, skills, and passions.
