NIT Allahabad offers seven boys and two girls hostels, and the boys’ hostels have a total capacity of 1800, including 1044 single-seated rooms and 252 triple-seated rooms, while the girls’ hostels offer 145 rooms.
Each room in the hostels comes equipped with essential amenities like a chair, study table, tea table, cot, fan, bulb connection, two plug points, and two shelves.Additional facilities provided in the hostels include geysers, water coolers, 24-hour internet connectivity, guest rooms, a night canteen, washing machines, refrigerators, and indoor games.
The hostels have separate messes operating on a non-profit basis, managed by nominated representatives, and there is an international mess catering to foreign students, serving non-vegetarian food.

For Tuition Fees:
Students belonging to SC/ST/PH categories and whose family income is less than Rs 1 lakh per annum are exempted from paying tuition fees. For students with a family income between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 5 lakhs per annum, the tuition fee is one-third of the regular amount, which is Rs 41,668 per annum. To avail of the tuition fee waiver, parents must submit a parental income certificate for the preceding financial year.It’s advisable to regularly check the institute’s website for guidance circulars. For CIWG category students, the tuition fee is the same as that for Indian nationals, which is Rs.1,25,000 per student per annum. For DASA / SII (SAARC) students, the tuition fee is USD 4000 per annum. For DASA / SII (Non-SAARC) students, the tuition fee is USD 8000 per annum.
