Library

NERIST’s library system is designed to meet academic needs throughout the year, and houses a collection of 65,291 books, both text and reference books.
In addition 37,638 books bank, 2,633 e-books, subscribes to 94 journals, 139 DVDs, 10 magazines, 10 newspapers, and is fully automated using the LIBYSYS LMS.

Hostel

NERIST has 10 hostels – 8 for boys and 2 for girls, the girls’ hostels are situated within the residential area, and all hostels are located near the academic blocks.
The Hostel Management Council (HMC) oversees hostel activities; each hostel has its own mess providing nutritious meals, and filtered water for drinking and cooking.

Sports

NERIST prioritizes extracurricular activities, providing top-notch sports facilities, including Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, and a Gym.
Throughout the year, both indoor and outdoor events are organized, and Pre-Synergy events witness enthusiastic student participation.

Placements

NERIST’s Placement Cell actively supports students by providing placement assistance, training, and career guidance tailored to industry needs.
In the academic year 2022-23, over 26 companies visited the campus, extending a total of 85 job offers to the students..

How To Reach

NERIST campus is located in Nirjuli, Itanagar, the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh, is 20 km from the city, 340 km from Guwahati, and can easily be reached by road, air, or rail.
There are daily overnight buses connecting NERIST to Guwahati and other cities like Shillong, Dibrugarh, and Dimapur.
