  • The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, established in 1933 as a University Department of Bombay University (UDCT), gained full autonomy in 2004 and became a Deemed-to-be University in 2008.
  • To support the growing energy, petrochemical, chemical, polymer, textile, mineral, material, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries in Odisha, ICT, Mumbai, opened the “ICT Mumbai Indian Oil Odisha Campus” in Bhubaneswar (IOCB) in 2018.
  • This is the first of its kind in India, where a corporate house supports education and research under its CSR policy and creates skilled manpower, job opportunities, entrepreneurs, and skill development centers in Eastern India.
