Infrastructure

The Institute’s Central Library is a vital part of its academic setup, offering a rich and diverse collection of resources.
The library contains over 37,000 books across various disciplines, more than 500 e-journals, 185,000 e-books, 891 educational videos, 4,362 graphs, 368 CDs, 12 magazines, and 12 newspapers.

Hostel

IIIT Bhubaneswar, two hostels can accommodate over 1600 students, and offer single, double, and triple bedded rooms, all designed with modern amenities.
Each room is equipped with, a table, chair, a cupboard, washing machines and geysers, a gym, and a common area furnished with an HD LCD TV.

Sports

The Institute’s Sports Society encourages students to participate in various sports and emphasizes the importance of physical well-being and sportsmanship.
The society organizes training camps and contests in multiple sports, including cricket, basketball, football, lawn tennis, and volleyball, and has various indoor events like carrom board, chess, and table tennis competitions.

Placements

The Training and Placement Cell at IIIT Bhubaneswar connects students with corporate sectors and develops students’ problem-solving abilities, personality, and communication skills.

The International IIT campus is located in Bhubaneswar, a historic city in the eastern state of Odisha, and is also known as the Temple City of India.
The Institute is approximately 8 kilometers from the New Bus Stand, situated on NH5 near Baramunda, and the Bhubaneswar Railway Station is about 15 kilometers from the Institute, is a major railhead on the East Coast Railway, with excellent connections to major cities across India and within Odisha.
