Library

The IGSTUW Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is the main source of academic information, and provides a wide range of resources, including print, electronic, and audiovisual materials in all disciplines.
The LRC subscribes to several e-journals through consortia mode, making them available online to its members via the campus LAN, and operates 24/7 on the university campus.

Hostel

The University has two women’s hostels, accommodating about 300 students, each room is shared by two or three students, and offers beds, chairs, built-in cupboards, and study tables.
The hostel operates a cooperative mess system on a “No Profit No Loss” basis, managed by the Student Council’s Mess Committee, and addition the common room features an LCD TV, full air conditioning, guest rooms, and a reading room.

Sports

IGDTUW offers sports and recreation facilities through its Sports Club, and the Synergy Sports Club provides year-round entertainment for students, faculty, and staff.
Sports equipment is available anytime to encourage girls’ participation in sports and games, and the Club seeks more involvement from students and faculty.

Placements

The Training and Placement Cell at IGDTUW coordinates the campus placement program and improves both the quality and quantity of placements.
In the 2023-24 session, over 135 companies participated, offering more than 409 job positions, the highest salary package was Rs 56 LPA, and the average salary was Rs 19.63 LPA..
