IITH campus is a sprawling 1000-acre adorned with lush green lawns and vibrant gardens, provides a serene environment for academic pursuits and boasts numerous academic buildings, hostels, sports facilities, and amenities catering to the needs.

The academic buildings are designed to foster collaboration and research, equipped with cutting-edge facilities including smart classrooms and over 100 research laboratories housing advanced equipment, have a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:14, the institute thrives with over 300 young and dynamic faculties.

The IITH Library is a comprehensive Knowledge Centre that provides access to a diverse range of resources and services.

The library collection of over 26,000 books and 10,000 periodicals, along with access to 225,904 eBooks via the Proquest platform, caters to various academic needs, and it offers full-text databases, citation databases, statistical databases, academic tools, and online newspapers & magazines.

IITH boasts 16 hostel blocks accommodating over 4500 students, with 12 blocks for boys and 4 for girls, and each block offers single or double sharing rooms, well-lit, highly ventilated, and equipped with drinking water on every floor.

The hostels are designed to stay cool during summers with radiant cooling techniques, and students enjoy comfortable accommodations, each provided with a single room furnished with a bed, cupboard, and study table, along with full WiFi connectivity.

IITH, sports facilities are top-notch, featuring a well-equipped gym, athletics ground, football-cum-cricket ground, hockey ground, basketball court, badminton court, and flood-lit volleyball and lawn tennis court.

Additionally, there are areas for table tennis, chess, aquatics, and electronic sports where students compete in video games.

The Office of Career Services (OCS) at the Institute supports students in securing career opportunities.
