The Central Library serves as the institute’s primary hub for information services, bringing together faculty and students from various technological fields, and is a key learning and resource center, housing 24,862 books across 8,978 titles in all subjects.

Hostel

The College has a Boys Hostel near the campus, consisting of five independent blocks for student accommodation, and provides housing for students from various parts of Gujarat and other states.
Hostel admission is granted based on merit rank, department, and category, following the Government of Gujarat’s guidelines, and the Boys Hostel has 270 rooms, accommodating up to 810 students across different semesters.

Sports

The College Activities program at GECM Campus offers students various opportunities to participate in cultural, educational, social, and recreational activities, enriching the overall living-learning experience.
The institute strongly supports sports and provides excellent facilities, including an indoor badminton court, a full-size cricket ground, kho-kho and kabaddi grounds, and three volleyball courts.

The Government Engineering College is located in Modasa, Gujarat, about 100 km north of Ahmedabad, and situated on the Modasa-Shamalaji State Highway, just outside Modasa town in the Aravalli district.
