The GKCIET Library serves the academic and research needs of teachers and scholars and offers books, journals, and current information on various topics to support the institute’s community.
The library has about 20,000 book volumes, more than 2,500 titles, and subscribes to five journal titles from the Institution of Engineers India (Springer) online, additionally, it offers access to 61 journal titles from indianjournals.com (eSS listed) and provides access to 53,438 journals through J-Gate.

Hostel

GKCIET Malda has two hostels, each housed in a three-floor building, one hostel has 156 rooms, while the other has 103 rooms, and the rooms are spacious and well-ventilated.
Hostel rooms are in single, double, or triple-sharing options, and each room is well-furnished with basic amenities, including fans, lights, cots, study tables, and chairs.

Sports

GKCIET regularly engages in activities to raise awareness and educate students, staff, and faculty about adopting healthy lifestyle choices.

GKCIET Campus is situated 7 km from Malda city, along the NH-34 connecting Kolkata to North Bengal, and is about 336 km from Kolkata and 246 km from Siliguri, and takes approximately 7.5 hours and 3.5 hours respectively.
The Malda Town Railway Station is the nearest, just 9.5 km away, and get a quick auto or toto ride, about 20 minutes journey.
